Sounds far fetched, doesn't it? In just three days, your lackluster skin can be returned to its former youthful, rosy-cheeked glory, your eyes brighter and your energy levels higher. Inflammation in your body will be greatly reduced and fluid retention will be a distant memory.

I *KNOW* the 3 Day Face Lift does all these things and more because I just tried it myself!
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain -- in just 72 hours.
Honestly, I was skeptical, but since I was visiting family in Portland, it was the perfect opportunity for me to indulge in this nutritional salmon diet since salmon is one of the best things from the Pacific Northwest!
The 3 Day Face Lift, or what I am calling the Super Salmon Diet, is based directly on Dr. Perricone's Three-Day Nutritional Face-lift. (I highly encourage you to read all about it, as well as all his other anti aging suggestions, in The Perricone Prescription: A Physician's 28-Day Program for Total Body and Face Rejuvenation.
Here's the gist of it: For 3 days, you'll be focusing on eating nutritious food and drinking plenty of water. It's really that simple. You'll be eating 3 meals a day plus 2 snacks, so don't worry about not feeling full or having enough energy to get through your day -- you will!
The diet is about as easy as they come; in fact, calling it a diet isn't really fair. It's actually a treat -- look at it as your personal three day nutritional retreat -- an opportunity to bust wrinkles, build healthy new eating habits and get wonderfully radiant.
OK, let's get on to the meat, or rather, the FISH of the 3 Day Face Lift.
What to know before you start:
- You'll be eating two 4-6 ounce portions of **wild caught Alaskan** salmon every day for 3 days.
- For the freshest fish, you may wish to shop each day... or use canned salmon for 1 or more days.
- You'll be forgoing coffee and drinking green tea in its place. (Coffee raises cortisol levels in the body and cortisol accelerates the aging process while green tea contains anti aging antioxidants.)
THE 3 DAY FACE LIFT MENU PLANHere's how to do it: (Note that this is basically Dr. Perricone's plan with slight modifications. Again, see his book, referenced above for more specifics on his exact 3-Day menu.) For the best results, DON'T add anything else to the recommended meals below!
Before Breakfast:
- Start the day with an 8-12 ounce glass of filtered water.
Breakfast:
- An omelet made with 3 egg whites and one egg yolk.
- 1/2 cup cooked old-fashioned oatmeal with 1/4 cup blueberries on top. (TIP: Make enough for 3 days, refrigerate and reheat each morning!)
- Wedge of fresh cantaloupe.
- 8-12 ounces of water and green tea, if desired. (I like Choice Organic Teas' Genmaicha.)
Lunch
4-6 ounces of grilled salmon (or canned salmon) over a bed of greens. Use fresh squeezed lemon juice and a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil to dress.1/4 cup fresh blueberries or strawberries.8-12 ounces of water and green tea, if desired.Afternoon Snack
- 2 ounces low salt sliced chicken or turkey breast. (I like Heidi's Hens No Salt Added Organic Turkey Breast.)
- 6-8 raw, unsalted hazelnuts (also called filberts).
- 1/2 pear or green apple.
- 8-12 ounces of water.
Dinner
- 4-6 ounces of grilled salmon (or canned salmon) over a bed of greens. Use fresh squeezed lemon juice and a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil to dress.
- 1 cup of steamed broccoli or asparagus drizzled with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries or strawberries.
- Wedge of fresh cantaloupe.
- 8-12 ounces of water.
After Dinner Snack
- 2 ounces low salt sliced chicken or turkey breast.
- 6-8 raw, unsalted almonds.
- 1/2 pear or green apple.
- 8-12 ounces of water.
What I changed:
- I prefer one of my two snacks in the morning, between breakfast and lunch, rather than after dinner. It seemed to work just fine that way.
- I also used a few portions of smoked salmon for my daily salmon ration, which Dr. Perricone advises against because of the high salt content of smoked fish. To combat this, I drank extra water. Again, it seemed to work just fine...and of course, it tasted delicious!
- For breakfast, I either had a single soft-boiled or hard-boiled egg. Omelets aren't my thing and I felt that with the addition of oatmeal and fruit, 1 egg was enough for me.
- I added a pinch of salt to my egg and to my oastmeal during cooking.
- I substituted Brazil nuts for the hazelnuts on two of the days.
After 3 days, the results of my 3 Day Face Lift experiment were nothing short of fantastic! Small lines around my eyes literally seemed to fade away, my normally dryish facial skin appeared more moist, plump and pink, and believe it or not, the skin on my neck actually seemed smoother and more taught. I wish I had taken before an after pictures!
In addition to looking great on the outside, I felt good, too. I don't usually eat anywhere near this amount of animal protein but it was quite convincing to see what eggs, turkey and 6 servings of salmon could accomplish.
I was so impressed by what I saw that I continued on with the plan for the following three days, substituting some canned tuna for a serving of salmon at lunchtime. Day 6 fell on my 41st birthday and you can believe I felt fabulous when someone told me I was "absolutely glowing"!
I heartily encourage you to try the 3 Day Face Lift for yourself and see what kind of results YOU get!
